What is the Poppins Project?

Poppins Project is a non-profit initiative to have guided discussions about career aspirations and trajectories of young college students and help them make an informed career choice.

The aim is to not only have career discussions but also provide support in the resume review process, mock interviews, interview preparation, leverage our professional network or simply talk about an exciting new field. We will dedicate our weekends to have 1 on 1 interactions with ambitious young individuals who want to have bold dialogues about their dreams and aspirations.You can block time on our calendars using the link on our page. We wish to reach out to as many students as possible and tailor our experiences to help them in the best way possible. We are looking forward to some great learning!

Our Motivation

College can be intimidating and navigating through it even more daunting. Through our personal experiences during our 5 year stay  at IIT Kharagpur, we realised that having a mentor with whom you can talk openly about your ambitions and life goals is extremely helpful.

A lot of students find it difficult to reach out to seniors for guidance- sometimes because they are too timid or sometimes because they are unmindful.  We were fortunate enough to have folks who themselves extended their hand in times of our dilemmas and difficulties. We truly cherish the kindness we received and want to do the same. Through our experiences in the maze of college-both good and bad, we learned that everything will even out in the long run; this, in turn, means that we should embark on some unique experiences that college life has to offer. Undoubtedly, your college years will be the best years of your life, and we at The Poppins Project want to be a part of your journey to help you utilize your college days in the best way possible.
